Mdfc aka Mobile Disco Funk Connection is a collaboration between Carl Cox and Eric Powell. As young music lovers, it all began a long time ago with Carl and Eric in the UK playing bloc-party style pop-ups, digging into their parents' influences in music. With its roots in Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, Disco and Reggae, Carl and Eric’s Mobile Disco showcases over 30 years of music with Carl and Eric digging to play some of the tracks that have influenced them over the years. Fast forward 20 years and Carl and Eric have now taken their Mobile Disco concept to: Glastonbury, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Queenstown, New York and Bali.
