The new 14 BIT Interface Board is for all who want to upgrade their 12 Bit JP8 to 14 Bit and have a board with only up-to-date and precise components.Parts of the circuit have been completely redesigned and updated. The interface board is responsible for the control voltages of the 16 VCOs. It does not influence the filters or VCAs, whose control voltages have an 8 bit resolution in all models. Only high quality OPA with less temperature drift was used instead of selecting cheap OPA. The board can easily be exchanged against the 12 bit board. It is prepared for ENCORE MIDI, you don't have to solder. CMOS components reduce the power consumption and thus also the heat dissipation in the entire JupiterUsers without ENCORE Midi interface have to change the EPROMS on the CPU board. Please ask me if you need these EPROMS. Differences to the "Classic" version: This board does without historical components and has many SMD components. Therefore I can produce and offer it cheaper. The function and dimensions of both boards are the same.
